Doors play important roles while the construction of houses and come in various styles. The doors are the basic necessities while the construction of the homes. Many construction companies provide the users with different types of doors.

Some of the major types of doors that are available are:

Double glazed doors

The double glazed doors are glass doors in with the 2 to 3 glasses stuck together with a vacuum or gas filled in the middle. These are thick doors and are heavy in weight. This allows preventing the excessive heat to enter into the homes. They also prevent the humidity and the cold winds from preventing the homes and keeping them cold during the summers and warm during the winters.

Advantages:

  1. Prevent the heat and cold to enter into the home.

  2. Keep the dust and dirt out of the homes.

Disadvantages:

  1. Too heavy to push and pull.

  2. They limit the air from entering the homes.

Sliding doors

The double glazed sliding doors are set up on a rolling structure which when pushed or pulled opens. These types of doors are easy to open and close and are commonly found in the houses. The double glazing allows the door to protect the home from various dangers.

Advantages

  1. These doors are easy to open and close.

  2. They are lightweight and create a vacuum with the hinge that keeps the dirt and dust out of the home.

Disadvantages

  1. These doors have gaps between two glasses which cannot be filled with anything that allows the dirt to enter the home.

Lift and slide doors

The lift and slide doors have a hinge that allows the users to push it downwards and pus open the door this is also an easy method and prevent the push and pull mechanism that is way too difficult.
